When I had so many boys come up and say “Miss Dee, can’t you do something for us?” Lego Day was what they all agreed they would like to do. So up went the posters, “Wanted Lego’s for the first ever Lego Day @ the Library.” By July 22nd we had 3 storage tubs of Lego blocks. I couldn’t of course just limit to boys, but it didn’t seem to bother them even with the girls trying to build stuff. We had 41 children and 16 adults. What a fun 2 hours we had, and with so many you would think, noise…no way they were all so busy it was amazing. So here are a few pics of the kids….. and of course the LEGOS….
July Tea Party
With the response from our June Princess Tea Party a second was scheduled. Again we had great success. Many “Thanks” to the parents, grandparents, Miss G. and all of the Hardee County Royalty. Thanks to the Friends of the Library for the yummy food.
